Good Enough to Eat?
Whatever has happened to paint?
The names of the paint used to convey some clue as to the actual colour your were buying, I can remember colours such as 'Sky Blue' and 'Sunset Yellow' but it seems that such nomenclature no longer sells the product adequately.
This evening we bought paint to decorate my daughters bedroom and came away with 'Prom Night' and a 'Whisper of Rodeo Drive'...now I bet you can't guess what sort of colours they are? Also the descriptions on the paint tins seem more fitting for luxury foodstuffs with words such as 'rich', 'creamy' and 'indulgence' being far more prominent than more useful information such 'matt', 'fast-drying' and 'clean brushes in water'.
Still, never mind, once it's on the walls we can throw the tins away.
