Binham Priory
Not sure this qualifies but I guess this is a trace of the Norman Empire...
This is a shot of Binham Priory in North Norfolk founded in the 1090s by Peter de Valognes, a nephew of William the Conqueror. It had 6 to 8 monks and was dissolved in 1539. So it existed for over four centuries.
These are the remains of the columns at the crossing with Norman columnar decorations.
