Not a Yacht . . .
No yacht - not a yacht in sight in fact. She was there at midnight when we went to bed, but by 5am she had vanished. During the night she broke her mooring and ended up on rocks at the other side of the bay. Mike waded in up to his armpits and managed to push her off and she drifted onto the sand. With the help of neighbours and the coastguard they got her secured and she is now safe. Amazingly she wasn't damaged! We are still being battered by gales but hopefully she is now high enough up the beach that she'll be okay. What a start to the day!
This is the jumper I've knit for the appeal at work for jackets for new born babies in Sierra Leone. The eagle-eyed amongst you will recognise the sock wool!
