Red on red

My camera struggles with red more than it does with any other colour. I don't know why. Sometimes it can't pick out any detail on a red surface, which is why there are so few examples of the colour in any of my photos. This shot was just an experiment to see whether the flower could hold its own against the (tonally very similar) background. I think the flower won.
