Chairing the meet!

A busy day with much done.
When I had dog in picture at the vet last week for having a dodgy digestive system they gave me a couple of wee plastic pots in which I was to scoop some samples of said dog's poo! A fairly simple task you might think. NOT! Firstly it was three pots so I had to have a morning, afternoon and evening sample! Simplees I hear you say. Well this morning in the garden in the pouring rain, the bloody dog went behind the only damn bush in the garden! So out I went pot in hand to collect a wee sample. Where the heck was it? I could smell it but couldnt see it, finally located it scooped it up with the wee pot and just as I was about to put the lid on , did the poo no go and fall right out onto the wet soggy ground. Now these things are ok when no one is about, but today there were two workmen working on the lane at the back who witnessed this along with the attending swear words that followed.
Attempt number two at collecting another number two wad by the side of the Crinan canal which involved reaching down on the embankment and having another scoop! fine so long as you don't slip your length down the flaming bank!
I gave up after that and took the dog and its mess to the vet who said"I still need a nightime sample" she's at it! At least I will have the cover of darkness to go poo seeking
And to end an interesting day... I burned the soup!
