Whoever said you can sleep when you die was an idiot.

Had an office iftar yesterday near Khan al Khalili. It was strange seeing the area from such a different angle, from a fancy restaurant with valet parking down the street from restaurants with plastic chairs filling pavements next to rush hour traffic. We ended the evening on the rooftop terrace looking down on the insane traffic we were going to have to throw ourselves head first into...

Of course my camera was with me all the time:
