Off they go.

The bedrooms are littered with discarded pjs, the kitchen is awash with empty cereal bowls and the bathroom definitely shows more than a few remnants of toothpaste. The only sounds I can hear are that of whirring of the fridge and the birds outside. It's most definitely the first day back at school.

So, as much as I feel quite bereft that they've gone, I really can't wait to crack on, clear up and get out and enjoy the day. Ta ra!
