Neptunes Staircase

Neptunes Staircase in Fort William is a set of 8 locks that lifts boats 20 metres and allows a shorter passage from the west coast of Scotland to Inverness via the Caledonian Canal.

Wet and windy today but that is not unusal for the west coast of Scotland
