Peacock Flower or Yellow Wild Iris

I spotted this little flower at our local shopping centre, as usual I had to look it up to find out what it is called.

Today was one of my days off, and I had to go out to pay a bill (a) too old-fashioned to use net banking (b) it's a good excuse to go round the shops!!!

I went to look for a handbag - needless to say I didn't get one but I DID get a pair of sandals - I'm getting like my daughter.
