I made the unusual decision to practice the piano for a bit earlier but was finding it difficult to concentrate. As I played I stared absentmindedly into the mechanisms and thought it would make a good blip for today. The movement of the hammers has always fascinated me.

The shadow from the lid made the lighter parts stand out nicely, I think.
