A 'souvenir' from yesterday.
The type of corn grown on the farm we visited
was not for direct human consumption,
but rather to be transformed into feed
for animals being raised for food.
(This is one part of food production that I'm against.)
Actually, the corn is edible earlier in the season,
but now it is hardening so it can be ground easier.
We have a few from the farm
that we plan to put outside for the squirrels
when the weather gets colder.
