today's been a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.

after getting a ticket for a broken headlight last night i was driving around town looking for someone or some place to sign off that it was fixed. i tried a number of auto shops - all closed - and then 2 police precincts. i only found out at the second one that they couldn't sign off on it because i got the ticket in nassau county so i'd have to go back there. ahhhh why do they make this so difficult!
