Inside out

This structure on the banks of the Tweed seems to have been built from the inside out. The inside was old wooden doors and shutters encased in corrugated iron to make a shelter. I just really liked the atmosphere and the brambles intruding.

We had a great day. We decided to go for a walk on the banks of the Tweed from the Chain Bridge. There are so many shiels along this stretch and quite a few of them have been done up and turned into holiday lets.

I had so many shots to choose from for once. I really liked the nets on the fishing boats being carefully placed. It reminded me of my Grandfather and Uncle who worked further up the Tweed all their lives. Unfortunately we didn't go to their old fishery because it isn't easy to get there any more. Part of me didn't want to go to see the changes anyway. There is no net fishing there now, only rod.
