Turnaround!!!

Well we're in Fort Lauderdale and that means its turnaround day again. Today is the busiest day of the week for a ship, as we say farewell to 2000 passengers, we welcome another 2000. Getting everyone and their luggage off in one piece, then getting the next lot on, with the minimum of fuss, is quite a job I can tell you.
Making sure everybodys rooms are ready and restocking the ship for the week in supplys, for everything we will need to make sure these people have a hassle free vacation, is not easy. This picture was taken about 1.30pm and they've been loading since 7am. This is the calm before the storm that procedes it inside the ship. As this is a day where I don't have to do very much, I can simply observe and keep out the damn way.
The housekeeping and kitchen staff are the ones who work the hardest on this ship, and when you think they have to clean around 1000 rooms daily and prepare in excess of 50,000 meals a week, you can see why!!!!
