Don't Fence Me In

I set out this morning to take a landscape shot, but instead ended up with a close-up of fencing from an abandoned cattle corral. I was drawn in by the curious yellow paint... and why the rusty streaks? The next time I happen to cross paths with a rancher, I'll have to ask the significance of these markings. I treasure the details of life that are revealed to me through photography. It makes it worth all the burrs still sticking to my jeans.
