Fireworks

We had a really good night out at Three little bells birthday do last night. It did mean a late night though so a long lie was the order of the day today.

I had a pile of work to get through then it was off to the fireworks.

We had gardens tickets for the three of us and Roz's mum. Unfortunately when we got there Sally, who has had the cold thing we've all had, started feeling dreadful and had to head home before it started so it was down to the three of us.

The theme of the music this year was classic movie scores so we had excerpts form Marnie, On the waterfront and others. I enjoyed the music but maybe I've just seen the fireworks too many times recently as they seemed a bit samey. It will be interesting to see if they change much next year with a new sponsor as I have a recollection of them being better back when Glenlivet sponsored them. Every year there seemed to be a theme to the show, something which was dropped when the Bank of Scotland took over.

It was a good night all teh same though.
