I made it!

I woke up at 8.17 and made it to church for 8.30 - go me!

I must admit I was disappointed this morning - I was hopeful as I normally get something out of the sermons by the priest who was in today. Unfortunately that wasn't the case today. While the sermon was good, it was written for the Gospel reading for the 10am service and not the Gospel reading that was at the 8.30 service! As I said - it disappointed me especially as the Gospel for our service - even if it was the version in the Prayer book - spoke to me on it's own!!!

Oh well! There's always next week!
