Rocky Mountain Road

A glorious day - mammoth walk through Stank Glen at Ben Ledi in the Trossachs. Wild and wonderful. I've been aching to get out into the wilderness for weeks, so felt fantastic to be surrounded by proper big rocks! It was pretty steep in places, and we found a great spot next to the burn to stop for lunch.

It was about a three hour hill walk, but took longer as I kept stopping to take pics! Was tough to choose a blip tonight, but this one won in the end, mainly because it showed the scale of the place - this is enlarged a fair bit! It was really misty and atmospheric at the mountaintops, though sunny and warm in the glen.

Now off to rest my aching limbs - tired but happy :-)
