New Kitchen Radio

Our last one gave up the ghost about three weeks ago and I really missed it.


For the last week of its life, we only managed to get originalfm, and I was beginning to get a bit stir crazy, feeling really cut off from the outside world, totally missed the Chilean Miners saga, poor devils, but on the up side, there's not much I didn't know about Aberdeen roadworks and traffic jams.


Hopefully as this one is DAB we shall manage to maintain a decent signal now our area has gone fully digital, both me and my eldest have a very bizarre effect on radios....we can interfere with the signal merely by being in the same room and I cannot tune in a normal radio to save my life.

However if the crackle and hiss gets too much I shall be able to play a cd or the much hated ipod!
