Christchurch earthquake at the local shops!

So I walked up the road to the local dairy this morning to get some milk. Wasn't sure the supermarket would be open, it was closed yesterday.

this is what I found. The dairy, hairdresser, fish and ship shop and take away bar - post earthquake!

I feel really sorry for the people, these are small businesses and they work so hard to keep afloat, something like this could be the end of them, especially if they are under insured or worse have no insurance, having taken a chance because it's expensive.

Notice the power cables hanging off the power pole at the left hand side. Very dangerous until the power can be turned off.
