World's Largest One-Day Automotive Event!

Back in the 1950s cruising up and down the 16-mile stretch of Woodward Avenue in Oakland County Michigan was a tradition that started on Friday and Saturday nights, when greaser guys smeared Brylcreem in their hair and headed out to cruise and loop all the drive-in restaurants, showing off their rides and then there was the historic stoplight-to-stoplight drag races.

Today the 16th Annual Woodward Dream Cruise is the world's largest one-day automotive event, held annually on that same 16-mile stretch of Woodward Avenue, on the third Saturday in August drawing about 1.5 million people and 40,000 muscle cars, street rods, custom, collector and special interest vehicles.
