Back to Blip!

I apologise to all for not being on Blip on a regular basis - my brilliant Canon camera suddenly died, and with it my desire to use my "point and shoot". I continued to take shots as and when, but was hoping not to have to use them.
Anyway, despite changing batteries etc., I still have no visible signs of life from my Canon. I am dreading how much it will cost to repair, and hope that someone out there can recommend a good place to send it. I certainly can't afford at this time to replace it. I absolutely hate not having a view finder.......

Anyway, I managed to catch a cold from one of the little darlings in school, and began sneezing at 12.22p.m. yesterday. Yes - I happened to look at the clock as I began the sneezing. I now have a hellish headache and a sore throat.

I feel particularly aggrieved with this cold - this is the best weekend (weather-wise) we have had since the Spring, and I feel terrible. I went into Gairloch and taught a couple of pupils, and then went up to the peat bank this afternoon.

It took me 3/4 of an hour to fill 6 bags of peat and get them into the car, and I felt exhausted. I decided that it was stupid even trying to do more.

I hope to feel better tomorrow; more good weather is forecast and I want to get into the garden.
