Today we had a lovely family day out.
I have undertaken a challenge to document 24 hours in 24 photos for a local website. I thought this would simply be an extension of a daily Blip and as I generally take a lot of shots over the weekend was expecting this to be straight forward.
In theory this is fine but in reality this means that you have to make your day interesting enough to get 24 interesting shots that people will be interested in.
So we set out early and met some friends for teacakes followed by a spot of kite flying on the beach.
After this we popped to the Royal Marines Museum for lunch and a run around in the grounds. Whilst wandering the grounds my wife spotted this little chap. He was very content on his branch and sat there for a while whilst I rattled of a few snaps before flying away.
After this we went for a strole along the seafront and the little ones fell asleep. So we started for home via Albert Road. Baby woke up for food so we visited my new favorite place on the road, Casa De Castro. The coffee is great and the cakes are even better, and they have created a lovely little back yard garden where babies can be fed, toddlers can move about and parents can sit comfortably. Simply great!
We then went home had dinner, fed the cat, washed the children, put them to bed and then put our feet up.
I am about to take the 24th shot, lovely stuff!
