Andrew and Rachel Jackson Tomb

I visited the Hermitage yesterday. Took a lot of photo's and finally decided that the tomb would be my blip. General Jackson had a long inscription carved on Rachel's side, but left instructions that his side simply say General Andrew Jackson. Even during his 8 years as President he preferred to be addressed as General rather than Mr. President. The tomb is in the garden behind the house where both of them died. Rachel died after he was elected President but before he was inaugurated.
