An Apple a Day...

This picture was taken at the place I went fishing today. We had a lovely time and were told we could pick some of the apples and take them home, so I picked 6 apples. I have never picked an apple off a tree before, but doing this made me feel truly English! it seems so traditional :)

Anyway, Hubby took a bite of one and discovered they are cooking apples! wish i'd taken a picture of his face while he was tasting it! :)
