Northern Hotel, Kittybrewster, Aberdeen

I had a working lunch with a business colleague today at "the most distinctively Deco building in Aberdeen", the Northern Hotel. The North East has a number of Art Deco buildings, most of which I prefer to this one, constructed as it is in the drab grey stone so characteristic of the "Granite City".

As I was taking this photo, a wedding party was just emerging from a 'stretch limo' outside the main entrance, to the right of the hotel.
