First Day of School !

The first day of school is always one of anticipation, tinged with a bit of anxiety and excitement, a morning with new shoes and new backpacks, the beginning of another year in the cycle of growing up. The routine is still unknown and we are all fresh... but just for this morning. The promise of new friends and new experiences awaits them. As I see them off on their respective buses, I reflect on how easily time slips away and remind myself to treasure each moment as we live them.
