i'M WATCHING YOU

Had to pop down to the Lab this morning to collect something, and there was this lovely black swan looking all fiesty and worried... I found out why, when I spotted the nest in the bush right beside the lab fence ... I didn't realise swans hissed like geese until today.

I got what I needed from the lab, dashed back to the car, and grabbed the camera, and snapped this, just as the rain started falling... I got a couple of him/her (because don't male swans guard the nest too?) with feathers and wings all out and looking very threatening, but the rain drops spoilt the effect, so I stuck with this one.
