Grey Squirrel

A controversial species round here - we are right on the Red Squirrel frontier but in recent years have definitely seen a lot more Greys. In fact, last winter a trapper worked through this wood and removed several tens of them, but they seem to have come back. I'm not sure where I stand on the issue - it's not the Greys' fault that they are stronger, but then again the Reds do need help if they are going to survive.
