Dar Al Masyaf

I learnt a blipping lesson yesterday. I collaged 3 photos together in Photoshop and it stripped away the exif data. After it had been approved it didn't appear on the front page and so no-one saw it. Never mind, it wasn't that good anyway.

Today is the start of the weekend in Dubai, and a very special one for me and Mrs DubaiDude. The children are safely been looked after by the in-laws and we have checked in to Dar Al Masyaf - the best hotel I have ever been to. We have a villa on the beach, with spectacular views, and our own private butler. Any minute now he is going to serve complimentary champagne and nibbles. I think I need to pinch myself to see if it is really true.
