Public transport
I am very much a friend of renewable energies, public transport and even nuclear power since I find it less bad than burning coal. But I still drive a car to work. Why? Because in Dundee, it takes one hour to go 9 miles by bus. That's why. I had a decent bus line that took me to work in 45 min before, but that one is cancelled.
I even miss the trams of my home town, with an average city centre speed of 7 km/h.
Two competing bus companies (by all means, competition is necessary), but without a common ticket system?
If I get rich, I promise to buy a hybrid car. Will you?
