Tragopogon dubiuse

What a beautiful day it was here in northwest Wisconsin. This plant is in the Aster family. The yellow flowers of Tragopogon (aka Yellow Goat's Beard) are fairly elusive, blooming only part of a day. This seed head is by far one of my very favorites.
