Discovery Center Exhibition
This morning my wife and I drove some 20 miles north to Turners Falls, where we spent three plus exhausting hours hanging some 30 prints, for an exhibition on Birds of the Massachusetts Coast. The venue, shown here, is the Great Falls Discovery Center, managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS); it presents programs on the upper Connecticut River valley and its environment.
The temperature outside was in the 90'sF (ca 35C): but it was air conditioned inside, and we thought we managed to hang the show satisfactorily. It's much the same as the exhibition from last summer at the FWS gallery in Hadley; most images are here. The exhibition hall is in the brick building on the right. (This picks up nicely on my theme of bricks in Northampton architecture.)
