Playground project

Second night of meeting the teachers; this time we had to see one each, with Mo meeting Matt's teacher, and me meeting Andy's.

I can't help thinking there's a sound idea hiding under all the nonsense jargon of the Curriculum for Excellence. But with all the "positive outcomes" and "interdisciplinary learnings" it all sounds a bit too much like management-gibberish to my ears.

One of the things on the wall in Andy's classroom was a game he'd devised to help with learning times tables. Out in the playground, I got to see his working prototype.
