Barcelona entranceway

Barcelona's full of beautiful building entranceways and I spotted this one this afternoon when out for a wander. Of course, I wasn't carrying my camera, so snapped it quickly with my iphone before the doorman got tetchy. I reckon this building was built around 1900, but stand to be corrected! I think I mentioned before in my Patience blip that entranceways to flats are important as most socialising and entertaining tends to take place outside in restaurants etc. and so the entranceways is often the only part that non-family members see. Not all are as impressive as this though!
