Abandoned

This property is one of many in the area that was used when the surrounding peat beds were being farmed. The land levels all around are about 5 feet lower than the roads and pathways. Many of these old steadings are being sold for conversion into modern houses but others, like this one, are just slowly falling to pieces. On the other side of the house lies an old railway carriage- that will be a blip for another day.

Yesterday went a little wrong in the evening, so i didn't blip until this morning, but, bias as i may be, i think it's a goodey worth seeing!!
