to infirmary and beyond!!

After a recent inconvenience of tearing a hole in my knee while hurtling down mountains, at increasing speeds, on my bike... an hour hobble back to the car, an uncomfortable drive home trying to avoid bending said knee, then a lovely wait in A&E for six hours on a Saturday night... I have been encouraged to purchase some knee and shin guards.

Mrs DM said I look like a Star Wars stormtrooper, I feel more like Buzz Lightyear.
Either way, they feel strong and sturdy enough to protect me against the false sense of security they instill.
