Never feed your Canon Ixus to the lions!

This is what you get! My camera has finally caught up with me and arrived this morning from South Africa.

Its in a better shape than I expected it to be however it is still very much deceased and has come back complete with teeth marks! The casing of the front of the camera is very much apart and won't clip back in and the screen at the back is very much done in. The lens has been protected though. Its interesting to have seen it and have it back as a sort of memento.

Having it back I can now definitely plan its replacement... I had my heart set on a Canon Powersot SX210is but have now also seen the Canon Ixus 1000hs the latter has 10x zoom whilst the 210 has 14x zoom... decisions, decisions!

Need to get back to work first though!
