Yorkshire heather

Had a lovely bonus summer day today. A friend came to stay overnight and we made the most of the sunshine to walk up onto the moors close to home.

Heather seemed appropriate for my blip as we were in Scotland (see back blips- here andhere ) at the weekend, but this is the Yorkshire kind - just as good!

Colleagues were back at work today but Tuesday is my day off so I didn't have to go. Back tomorrow though - summer really will be over!
