This is probably not the place to ask seeing as most of the people reading are more likely to be walking around with a camera rather than addressing people they see walking around with a camera, but if anyone has any insight into the reason for people saying "goan take ma picture" when they see someone standing taking a picture of something merely because the person standing around taking a photograph of a wall is doing so with a camera then I would be interested to hear it in order to be able to upgrade the entity who addressed me thus from a fucking moron to something slightly less derogatory.
