Nostalgic Return..

Went back to the river to-day where I caught my first Brown Trout as a wee nipper.. I`d tried to find the spot but I could`nt be sure.. The river narrows through this gorge and it demonstrates the power water can exert to shape the rocks, there are three large circles visible in this shot which measure in excess of 4 meters, its difficult to asses size without a figure in the picture.. The river is low at the moment but it can completely cover these rocks, a very dangerous place if your not careful.. I can remember throwing my line up and accross the river and was amazed how fast it past me, I could`nt see how any fish had time to see it let alone catch it, and then it happened, I nearly fell in, in my excitement, Ah well, those were the days..
