Calm

The weather was still and warm today after the monsoon weather at the weekend. That didn't stop the celebrations or dampen spirits at the Lonach Gathering. Busiest weekend of the year for us and surprisingly it went without a hitch during service.

The only down side is the usual sleep deprivation and sore legs from standing so long.

Stopped at Loch Skene the water was calm which depicts the mood today after a hectic weekend. Spent an hour in Aberdeen then joined our friends for lunch which was lovely and always appreciated when I don't have to cook, especially after the hundreds of covers over the last week.

Gave the pigs a good scratch when we got home. Streaky nearly keeled over in delight when I got just the right spot. They do the same things as dogs trying to scratch the same spot as you.

The roof slaters found the pigs hilarious as they carried out some repairs around the Inn. Chops kept scratching himself against anything they left in his way and chewed the brush a little.
