our child sponsorship program gives oatmeal, powdered milk, and vitamins every month to malnourished children in la chureca, managua's municipal dump. this month, we brought all of the moms and kids to a friend's ranchon to play and hired a soy expert to teach the moms how to cook with powdered soy milk, soy beans, and powdered soy meat. sounds gross, but it was delicious.
