'The End of Summer?'

I got home from work last night at nearly 11pm. I'm tired physically, maybe a wee bit crabby and a lot missing lying about on the couch at night with my family.

It was chilly this morning, but the sun shone and made things seem a bit better. I know the end of summer is fast approaching, so I planned on taking some pics of my plants today before they all go to sleep for the winter.

There had been no butterflies on the Buddleja until this week. This peacock arrived and drank the bush dry and Joseph and I sat under the tree and watched it in awe.

I hope I've done it justice as it looked so much more beautiful in the flesh, so to speak.
