Reflecting pool

Bob had a work-related errand in downtown Cleveland today, after which we spent a fun hour-and-a-half blipping the city sights. Not easy to chose which one to post for my blip, I can tell you that! You are looking at the picture that Bob discovered in the beautiful enclosed garden next to the Cleveland Public Library. It is a wonderful, shady place to relax, filled with plenty of plants and interesting art. Can you see the words reflected in the shallow pool? Pretty neat, we thought.

I was going to post a picture of the Veterans' Memorial fountain with Terminal Tower in the background. If you saw the movie Christmas Story, you might recognize Terminal Tower from that film. Some of the scenes were filmed there. There were so many potential blips in the city, I will have to go back again...and again...and again, so I can share them with you.

I plan to wait for a cooler day to go back downtown where all that concrete holds in the heat. Today was another simmering day in northeast Ohio with more expected tomorrow and Wednesday. Temperatures above 90 degrees and lots of sunshine....a heat wave, according to the weather forecast. Yuck!
