Bank Holiday Monday
I love Bank Holidays! Today i got to spend the whole day with James (and his parents) at Wings and Wheels in Dunsfold. Its a popular even with photographers and car/plane lovers. Thankfully the weather was much better today and although the wind was pretty chilly the sun shone and the rain stayed away.
It is amazing what people will do in planes and i found the red arrows (which is what the picture is of) and the Blades really incredible. The red arrows were made up of current RAF pilots who return to the front line after they have done around 3 years in the squad and the Blades (still RAF) are all ex red arrow pilots. There job is pretty special because they apparently take passengers in the front seat whilst they do all these ammmaaazzzzing tricks.
Todays photo was taken on my little compact camera. It hasn't been edited or played with. It was a pure lucky shot and although i know it probably has its faults I am very proud of it.
After a busy and eventful day I am shattered, have a sunburnt nose and am enjoying a cold glass of wine.
Hope you all had a lovely bank holiday - I have only 1 week left of the summer holidays. Best make the most of it.
