The Annual clear out

Once a year Rob declares that he must clean the van out. This is a sign that the MOT is imminent, I know cleanliness isnt on the MOT criteria, but the garage may well call Health and Safety if he doesnt clean it. For an hour or so our front drive will look like the van has vomited everything it ever carried all over the floor

Its this time of year all the kitchen mugs are returned to me, stained with tea and chipped, its also when I recieve a bundle of jumpers, T shirts and hats for washing, they are jumpers he has sworn were not in the van.

Next will come some items of tupperware like containers, some may or may not contain food of some description. I bin them, to open them will make me vomit .

And lastly he will find something he claims to have left on a site or had stolen by another builder envious of his toolage. In the photo he has unearthed a lead dresser, he shook it at me a menacing way :o

We have been to the country park today with Charlie, I kindly let his mum go shopping and I looked after the boy. only 2 small tantrums and one bite attempt , wow thats a record. And that was just me , the kids were great too
