Zaandam

Today my boy?s parents came to visit us.

We planned to go to Zaandam, a little village which is still the same as it was a couple of years ago. It?s typical Dutch, with its windmills and old houses.

They never been there, so I thought it would be nice to go. And it was

It was a pretty warm day. We walked through the village and took a little boot ride ?as you can see- and of course, walked some more. We sat down for a drink near the river, with a wonderful view.

In the evening they took us out for dinner. It was really nice that they came to visit us and it was great to hear their vacation-stories and to catch up. It was a wonderful day.
