The Last Sunset

.. for a while anyway.

The sun is currently setting while we are reading our way through the works of Beatrix Potter (Miss Moppet, this evening). I never read them as a child so they're as new to me as they are to my children. To be honest, she was a better artist than writer - in my humble opinion anyway.
If I'm lucky everyone is snoring by 8pm and I can dash out into the yard and catch one last glimpse of the sun as it dips below the horizon.
However I'm looking forward to lots of misty autumn sun rises - just as soon as my hubby stops doing loads of overtime and can let me escape for a few hours. And, next week, my new daytime freedom will begin and I'll be challenging myself to make grey skies & rain look interesting.
