Cheerful sight

Quite a cheerful sight at our frontdoor. We are só excited about the improvement in the weather, although we knów that we can expect one or two more coldfronts!! Eisch! Can you imagine the disappoinment when that happens!?

C and I are quite tired tonight, did a lót of 'springcleaning' today, and still a lot to do tomorrow!

Wednesday is the funeral of Dot, R snr's aunt (his mother's only sister), in Klerksdorp. She was such a smart lady, you could never call her an old lady, she never grew old although she was close to eighty years of age already, but cancer took it's toll, unfortunately!

The last month was particularly horrifying, C&R snr saw her about a month ago, her mind was still very sharp, but there was more or less nothing left of the strong and proud body, she was bedridden already by then. She was unconscious since Thursday afternoon and passed away Friday night after 22:00
